1 minute meditation: observance

Take a deep breath and let your mind and body become still.

Notice the sensations in your body—perhaps a slight tension in your shoulders or a gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath.

Observe your mind—are there thoughts swirling around, or is there a sense of calm?

This practice of self-awareness is about being present and fully engaging with what is happening within you, without trying to change it.
