BEING VS BECOMING

In yoga philosophy, the concept of "being" corresponds to the state of pure awareness or consciousness, often referred to as "sat" in Sanskrit. It's the timeless essence beyond the fluctuations of the mind. "Becoming," on the other hand, aligns with the idea of "kriya" or action, representing our journey of self-discovery and evolution.

Yoga teaches that by cultivating practices like meditation, mindfulness, and self-inquiry, we can deepen our connection to our true being while simultaneously engaging in the process of becoming our best selves.

This dual awareness encourages us to honor our innate wholeness while actively working towards personal growth and transformation. It's about finding balance between acceptance and effort, surrendering to the flow of life while actively participating in its unfolding.
